The 15D1 brings style, flexibility and functionality to point-of-sale (POS), retail and hospitality businesses. With a wide array of field-installable peripherals, spill-resistant sealing, and a wide range of input/output port connection options, the 15D1 is versatile and powerful. It is designed with the future in mind, allowing easy serviceability of the main components and excellent performance utilizing the Intel Celeron 1.8 GHz processor.
The 15D1 features a sealed touchscreen resisting intrusion of dust and dirt, two-watt/channel speakers in the base and an accessible hard drive. It also supports Microsoft Windows XP, WEPOS, and Vista and is available with a variety of industry-leading Elo touch technologies including the innovative, aesthetic look of the zero-bezel Acoustic Pulse Recognition (APR), IntelliTouch surface acoustic wave and AccuTouch 5-wire resistive. POS peripherals that are easily installed in the field include: magnetic strip reader (MSR) for reading credit cards, ID cards, loyalty cards, etc., a rear-facing display for viewing customer transactions, a biometric fingerprint reader for added security, and a single 1-D or omni-directional 2-D barcode scanner.
